Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a six-year-old boy died after being run over by a rashly-driven truck at Mallampet in Dundigal on Friday morning.
The incident occurred when the boy, Abhimanshu Reddy (6), a Grade I student of Gitanjali International School, was proceeding to the school on his mother’s scooter from their house in Akash Layout around 8.30 am.
According to the police, Abhimanshu was riding pillion. On reaching near Pallavi School junction, a tipper lorry which was allegedly being driven in a rash and negligent manner hit their two-wheeler from behind and later ran over the boy.
