Hyderabad flyovers to remain closed on January 16 night for Shab-e-Meraj

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced the closure of all flyovers across the city on the night of January 16 in view of Shab-e-Meraj celebrations. Restrictions will begin after 10 pm, though key routes including PV Narasimha Rao Expressway will remain open.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced the closure of all flyovers across the city, on January 16 night, in view of Shab-e-Meraj (Jagne Ki Raat) celebrations.

The restrictions will come into force after 10 pm to ensure smooth traffic regulation and public safety.
However, Greenlands flyover, PV Narasimha Rao Expressway and Langar Houz flyover will remain open for vehicular movement.


In addition, the Telangana Thalli, Shaikpet, Manmohan Singh and Bahadurpura flyovers may be closed depending on traffic conditions.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have advised commuters to plan their travel in advance, take alternate routes and follow real-time updates through their official social media platforms.

In case of emergencies, citizens can contact the traffic helpline at 9010203626 for assistance.
