Hyderabad: Four arrested, 21 kg marijuana seized in Mangar Basthi

Habeeb Nagar police arrested four persons and seized 21 kg of marijuana from them at Mangar Basthi on Friday. Police alleged that two suspects brought the contraband from Maharashtra, while two others were involved in its local transportation and distribution.

Hyderabad: The Habeeb Nagar Police arrested four persons in illegal possession of marijuana and seized 21 kg of the contraband from them at Mangar Basthi on Friday.

The arrested suspects were identified as Sandeep Nandha Kishore Bhongade (38), Rahul Rajesh Patil (24), Kamble Umesh (29) and Kamble Suraj (24)

Police said Bhongade and Patil allegedly brought marijuana from Maharashtra, while Umesh and Suraj were involved in its local transportation and distribution.

The case is under investigation.
