Hyderabad: Four arrested for murder of plumber in Chandrayangutta
Chandrayangutta police arrested four youths for the murder of Mohd Salman, a 23-year-old plumber. The victim was assaulted with a knuckle duster and stone following an argument after a Ramzan gathering and later died during treatment.
Hyderabad: The Chandrayangutta police on Saturday arrested four youths in connection with the brutal murder of Mohd Salman (23), a plumber, which was reported early this week.
The arrested persons are Syed Abdullah, Syed Aman, Shaik Matheen and Mohd Sarwar.
According to police, the incident occurred on the night of March 22 when Salman, along with his friend, was returning home after a Ramzan gathering. An argument broke out with the suspects, which turned into a violent assault.
Syed Abdullah allegedly attacked Salman with a knuckle duster, while Syed Aman hit him with a stone. Shaik Matheen and Mohd Sarwar also joined in the attack.
Salman suffered serious injuries and was admitted to Osmania General Hospital, where he died during treatment on March 27.
Police nabbed all four suspects near Falaknuma Railway Station while they were reportedly trying to flee.
