Hyderabad: Four persons were picked up by the Kulsumpura police in connection with the murder of a rowdy sheeter, Abdul Khader, reported on Monday morning. Those detained by the police include Mohd Akbar (36), against whom a rowdy sheet is maintained at Tappachabutra police station, and three others. According to the police sources, Mohd Akbar was a relative of one Kala Imran of Farooqnagar who was murdered in May 2019 at Chandrayangutta. Akbar suspected that Abdul Khader had a role in the murder of Kala Imran although the Chandrayangutta police then had arrested two other persons in the case. Abdul Qadeer was also detained for questioning by the police and later let off.

Those picked up by the Kulsumpura police are Mohd Akbar, Qadeer an auto rickshaw driver who had invited him for the party, and two others. The police reportedly recovered the weapons used in the crime from them.
