Hyderabad: Four people were reportedly injured when a speeding car went out of control and crashed into another car coming on the opposite side on the Kukatpally flyover early on Monday morning.

Rash and negligent driving led to the mishap, police said.

The incident took place when the car was proceeding from JNTU towards Hitec City.

On reaching the middle of the flyover, the car driver, who was driving the vehicle quite speedily, lost control of the wheel and hit the road median and an electric pole. With the same speed, the vehicle jumped onto the opposite side and hit another car.

Four people in both cars were injured and were taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment.

On receiving information, the Kukatpally police reached the spot and started an investigation.
