Hyderabad: GHMC partners with 1M1B to empower youth with digital skills
GHMC has partnered with UN-accredited NGO 1M1B to train young job seekers in digital and professional skills. Twenty participants were trained in the first batch, with six earning certifications. GHMC officials awarded certificates and promised further job support

Hyderabad: The GHMC has extended its support to 1M1B (One Million for One Billion), a UN-accredited non-profit foundation, to empower youth with skills and enhance their access to opportunities.
The initiative commenced with the first batch of 20 job seekers trained in digital literacy and professional skills on Saturday. Of these, six participants received industry-recognised certifications, symbolising a significant step towards employability. As the next phase, the trained youth will be provided access to employment opportunities, according to an official statement.
On this occasion, S Pankaja, Additional Commissioner (Health-NUHM), GHMC, and Ramadevi Lanka, Superintending Engineer, GHMC, and others presented the certificates to the participants and encouraged them to pursue further opportunities.
