Hyderabad: GHMC road sweeping vehicle catches fire near Assembly, completely gutted

A GHMC road sweeping vehicle caught fire near the State Assembly at Saifabad on Saturday night. The driver escaped unhurt. Firefighters extinguished the flames, but the vehicle was completely destroyed. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Hyderabad: A GHMC road sweeping vehicle was gutted down in a fire incident at Saifabad on Saturday night.

The vehicle was on its routine task of sweeping the road stretch in front of the State Legislative Assembly when the driver notice fire in the vehicle. The driver jumped down and ran for safety. The fire spread rapidly gutting down the entire vehicle.

A fire tender from a nearby fire station reached the spot and doused the flames. The police are investigating.
