Hyderabad: GHMC worker dies after being hit by private bus in Jeedimetla

Soon after the incident the GHMC workers blocked the road and staged a protest demanding action against the bus driver and ex-gratia to the victim.

Hyderabad: A GHMC worker died after a private bus hit him at Shahpurnagar of Jeedimetla on Wednesday.

The man identified as Hari Krishna working at GHMC Circle 23 as sanitary in-charge was on the road when the private bus hit him.

The man sustained injuries and died on the spot. Soon after the incident the GHMC workers blocked the road and staged a protest demanding action against the bus driver and ex-gratia to the victim.

The Jeedimetla police reached the spot and after persuading the GHMC workers shifted the body to mortuary. A case is registered.
