Hyderabad: As part of Operation Smile in Cyberabad, the Balanagar Zone Operation Smile Team rescued a girl child who was found begging on roads in Dundigal on Thursday.
Following a tip-off, the She Team along with District Child Protection Unit officials reached the spot and found the 10-year-old girl begging on the road. She was counseled and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee officials for safe custody. She will soon be handed over to her parents or will be sent to a rescue home, officials said.
