Hyderabad: GNITS welcomed the incoming B Tech batch of 2025–29 through an orientation programme held at the college campus in Shaikpet. The event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for over 900 students and their parents, offering them a glimpse into the vibrant learning environment, strong legacy, and transformative opportunities that define GNITS.
Designed to help students acclimatise to campus life and the rigors of engineering education, the programme underscored the Institute’s commitment to shaping future-ready women engineers.
The highlight of the day was the presence of Tanikella Bharani, an acclaimed actor, poet, and playwright, who captivated the audience with his soulful storytelling and life lessons. Drawing from personal experiences, he spoke about overcoming failures, the power of discipline, and the importance of rising early and staying away from digital distractions.
G Srividya Reddy, Vice Chairperson of GNITS, Dr K Ramesh Reddy, Principal of GNITS, G Raghava Reddy, Chairman, GNITS, and others also addressed the students.
