Hyderabad: Gold chain snatched from woman at Shamshabad
A woman was robbed of her gold chain by an unidentified man at Shamshabad on Saturday morning while she was outside her house. Police have registered a case and are examining CCTV footage to identify the suspect.
HYDERABAD: Unidentified persons snatched away a gold chain from a woman at Shamshabad on Saturday morning.
The woman, Jayamma, a resident of Kumuri Basthi in RGI Airport area, was sweeping in front of the house when an unknown person approached her. The man then flicked away the gold chain weighing four tolas from the neck of the woman and escaped.
On a complaint, the RGI Airport police visited the spot and conducted enquiries. The police registered a case. The police are verifying the footage of the closed-circuit cameras installed in the area to get a clue.
