Hyderabad: Goldsmith killed by roommate in Musheerabad
A goldsmith was murdered by his roommate in Musheerabad after repeated arguments. The victim, Shaik alias Hussain, died after being assaulted inside their home. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation
Hyderabad: A 52-year-old goldsmith was murdered by his roommate following a heated argument at their shared residence in Musheerabad on Monday night.
The victim, identified as Shaik alias Hussain, a native of West Bengal and resident of Gandhinagar, had been living with Noba Dhoora.
According to Musheerabad police, the two had a history of disputes. A few days ago, Hussain had reportedly damaged Dhoora’s mobile phone during a quarrel. On Monday evening, another argument broke out, during which Hussain allegedly took the suspect’s new mobile phone and threw it on the floor.
“Angered by the repeated provocation, Noba Dhoora assaulted Hussain inside the house. The victim suffered injuries and died on the spot,” police said.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
