International Nurses Day being celebrated in Hyderabad on Monday.
Hyderabad: Acknowledging their role as the backbone of the healthcare system, government and private hospitals celebrated International Nurses Day on Monday, which marks the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.
On the occasion, a huge cake was cut at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in the presence of its Director, Professor Bheerappa, senior nursing staff and doctors. Similar events were also organised at Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad.
Care Hospitals, Hyderabad marked the day with a week-long series of celebrations and community outreach initiatives, honouring the commitment and contributions of its nursing workforce across its network of hospitals.
Apollo Hospitals Group celebrated International Nurses Day 2025 by honouring its nursing staff, called ‘Care Champions’, and organising various activities across its hospitals.
American Oncology Institute (AOI) along with Citizens Specialty Hospital launched the campaign ‘Our Nurses. Our Future’, initiative to honour the dedication, compassion, and resilience of nurses.
