Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Wednesday emphasised the Indian civilisation’s focus on the rediscovery of knowledge, quoting Sri Krishna: “Knowledge is everywhere.”

Launching a three-day international conference on ‘Reinventing Disciplinarity through Indian Philosophical Ethos’, organised by the Department of English Literature, English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), here, Varma urged the presenters to set lofty benchmarks for knowledge, referencing the prayer for universal well-being, ‘Sarvejana Sukhinobhavanthu’.
