The reviewing officer asked the soldiers to be prepared for all the challenges and follow the principle of service before self. The soldiers took the oath of allegiance and service to the nation. Medal for overall best recruit was awarded to Gunner (Gnr) Panchenavar Iranna and Gnr (OpR) Raja Nayak.

A live streaming of the parade was done for the proud parents, as they could not be invited to witness the ceremony due to Covid-19 restrictions.

It was a grand military spectacle that witnessed 410 budding young men march to the tune of ‘Saare Jahan Se Achha’ in their crisp military attire and assume their rightful place in the Gunners’ fraternity.
