Hyderabad: Helping Hand Foundation launches support services at Koti Maternity Hospital
Helping Hand Foundation (HHF), in collaboration with Basheer and Sarwar Babu Human Development Trust, has set up patient help desks at Koti Maternity Hospital. Trained health workers will assist in OPD registrations, ABHA IDs, and patient support, while HHF also repaired lifts.
Hyderabad: Voluntary organization, Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) in collaboration with Basheer and Sarwar Babu Human Development Trust have established help desks to guide patients at Koti Maternity Hospital.
Four trained community health workers have been deployed at the hospital, covering the outpatient block, near OT, outside the labor room and besides the SNCU. The health care workers will be helping pregnant women in OPD registrations, particularly in ABHA IDs under Ayushman Bharat Digital missions.
The help desk at the OT theater will help patients/attendants in getting medicines from the pharmacy, coordinates with the blood bank etc.
The HHF Foundation has also undertaken repairs of two non-functional lifts outside the labor room. The connectivity from the labor room to the OTs on the fourth floor was reestablished after the lift was repaired and made functional.
