Hyderabad: The much-awaited festive season is here, and Hyderabadis are making sure to celebrate Christmas in a grandiose manner.
The churches across the city are beautifully decked up for the festival. Several people were seen going for the midnight mass and special prayers, all dressed up, along with their family and friends.
Large congregations were seen at major churches in the city, such as St Mary’s Basilica, St George church and St Joseph’s Cathedral. After the mass, people greeted each other and clicked pictures together.
The church authorities ensured that all the COVID norms were followed by the devotees. People also maintained physical distance while being seated at the church.
City bakeries also saw huge footfall on Saturday morning, with people buying various confectioneries to gift their loved ones.
