Hyderabad: History sheeter absconding for 8 years nabbed
Hyderabad: A notorious history sheeter who was absconding for last eight years was finally nabbed by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (south) team on Sunday.
Mohd Ashwaq, is involved in 51 criminal cases including murder, attempt to murder, dacoity and firearms in different police stations in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda.
A history sheet is also maintained against him at Kalapather police station in Hyderabad.
He was absconding for the last eight years and had not attended the court for trial in multiple cases. Previously, he managed to give slip to the police on multiple instances and managed to evade arrest although the teams travelled to different States to nab him.
Finally, the Task Force (south) team acting on leads nabbed him. A total of 16 Non-Bailable Warrants are pending against him and Ashwaq is wanted in two extortion cases. The man was handed over to the Kalapather police station for further action.
