Hyderabad: History-sheeter jailed for 15 days after Gudimalkapur attack

A city court sentenced a history-sheeter, Thakur Shankar Singh alias Tagore, to a 15-day jail term for attacking a man at Gudimalkapur market with an iron rod. The police registered a petty case and shifted him to Chanchalguda prison.

Hyderabad: A history-sheeter who attacked a man at Gudimalkapur was sentenced to a 15-day jail term by a city court.

Thakur Shankar Singh alias Tagore (23), a resident of Heeranagar, Gudimalkapur, attacked a man at Gudimalkapur market with an iron rod on Tuesday night.


Based on a complaint, the police registered a petty case against Shankar Singh and produced him before the court.

The court sentenced him to a 15-day jail term. He was later shifted to Central Prison, Chanchalguda.
