Ashok Reddy said the tunneling work, which was being done at a depth of about 8 to 11 metres, should be carried out during off-peak hours and holidays so that the people do not face any problems.

The underground tunneling work on the road leading to the nearby 7 tombs was also inspected and orders were issued that the work be done in two shifts so that this stretch is completed by the first week of March. Later, he reviewed the pipeline expansion works in progress in MD Lines, Gudimalkapur, and other areas.

The Zone-3 Sewer Network Project was undertaken to modernise the sewerage system in the core city on the north side of the Musi river.

The water board is undertaking the construction of a total of 135 km long pipeline in the Zone-3 Sewer Network Project at a cost of Rs 297 crores covering an area of 33.50 sq km in Goshamahal, Nampally, Karwan and Jubilee Hills assembly constituencies.
