Hyderabad: A private travels employee proved his honesty by returning a wallet containing Rs.23,700 cash, which was lost by a man near Sultan Bazaar here on Friday.
Mohd.Yousuf, who works for Azam Travels was on his way to work in the morning, when he found a wallet on the road near Rang Mahal junction.
Yousuf, waited for some time to check if anyone came back to take it. However, none returned to claim it. When he checked the wallet, he found cash in it and details of the person who lost it.
He immediately approached Sultan Bazaar Traffic Inspector M.Suman Kumar and handed over to wallet. The police officials identified and traced its owner – Jawahar Raju and handed over the wallet to him in the presence of senior police officials.
