Hyderabad: The Habeebnagar police raided Alhamduillah hotel at Mallepally late on Sunday night and found the hotel violating lockdown rules and serving food to customers.

It was based on a tip-off that the Habeebnagar police raided the hotel and found that the management had kept the hotel open.

“They kept a small shutter open and put a curtain over it to con police patrol parties. On suspicion, a watch was kept and the hotel raided,” the police said.

A case has been booked against the hotel management for lockdown violation and for flouting Covid19 protocols.
