Hyderabad: Hussain Sagar gets new 80-seat cruiser
Launching the new facility, Tourism Minister Srinivas Goud along with Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said they would soon launch an electric cruiser and boats in the Hussain Sagar.
Hyderabad: The go-to-place for boating in Hyderabad, the Hussain Sagar, on Tuesday got a major boost with the addition of a new cruiser, which can carry 80 passengers.
Launching the new facility, Tourism Minister Srinivas Goud along with Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali said they would soon launch an electric cruiser and boats in the Hussain Sagar.

“The public can celebrate birthdays and other occasions in these boats,” Goud said, adding that following instructions from MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao, two more boats were launched on the Durgam Cheruvu lake as well.
“We are developing Telangana and Hyderabad as tourism hubs. After the formation of the State, there has been a steady rise in foreign tourist arrivals,” Goud added.
