Hyderabad: Huzurnagar police arrest two inter-state thieves

Suryapet: The Huzurnagar police on Saturday arrested two inter-state thieves and seized 27 tulas of gold worth Rs 13 lakhs and Rs 2.5 lakhs cash from their possession.
The arrested were identified as Devarakonda Rambabu (54), resident of Vambay colony in Vijayawada and Deshavath Eshwar(23), who was native of Dushmanpet thanda in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh state.
Presenting the arrested at a media conference held in the District Police Office, Superintendent of Police S Rajendra Prasad said that Huzurnagar police took the two persons during the vehicle checkup at Indira Chowk in Huzurnagar on the suspicion. During the inquiry, the arrested persons confessed that they were committed thefts at Hanuman Junction and Avanigadda in Andhra Pradesh state and at Nereducherla in Suryapet district of Telangana state. They were also committed theft in two houses at Nereducharla.
