Hyderabad: The Indira Nagar Dignity Housing Colony in Khairatabad is slated for inauguration on February 3.
Municipal Administration & Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, Union Minister for Tourism, G Kishan Reddy, Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi and other elected representatives have been invited for the inaugural ceremony.
The Indira Nagar Dignity Housing Colony comprise 210 dwelling units spread over four blocks and has been built by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 1,785 lakh.
With a plinth area of 560 sft, the cost of each dwelling unit is 8.50 lakh which includes Rs 0.75 lakh as the cost of infrastructure for each unit. The society is equipped with CC roads, sewerage lines, electricity and sumps for drinking water.
The project has been built under 2BHK housing scheme that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has formulated to provide dignity livelihood to the poor by providing 100% subsidised housing.
