Hyderabad: Infant found abandoned on building terrace, rescued

On information, the police reached the building and after enquiry, shifted the infant to a local hospital for treatment

Hyderabad: A infant, who was abandoned on a terrace of a building, was rescued by Chaderghat police on Saturday. The infant was found on the terrace at Chaderghat by some people who later alerted the police.

On information, the police reached the building and after enquiry, shifted the infant to a local hospital for treatment. After preliminary check up, the infant was shifted to Niloufer Hospital. The infant was suffering from health issues.

The police registered a case and informed the Child Welfare Department officials. The police are checking the footage of the surveillance cameras installed around the building to identify the persons who might have brought the infant and left on the terrace of the building.
