Hyderabad: The IPBL Tour India got off to a flying start in India, as the highly anticipated boxing in the City featuring the thrilling clash between Rana’s Boxing Bay and Anthony’s APFC, lived up to the hype as it ended in a 2-2 draw between Team India and Team USA.

Standout performances from Indian fighters Akshay Chahal and Sabari Jaishankar. Their dominant victories over former world champions Luis Feliciano and Sergio Pettis made an undeniable statement to the world: India is ready to rise in the world of professional boxing.


Anthony Pettis said India would be the next frontier for combat sports, and the passion witnessed here was unmatched.
“The fans are incredibly excited, and I truly believe the Indian Pro Boxing League (IPBL) has the potential to become one of the biggest boxing leagues in the world. I’m committed to bringing top-tier talent to India and helping elevate the sport here,” he said.
The event was made possible thanks to the vision and support of actor and entrepreneur Rana Daggubati, who has been instrumental in introducing the league and promoting boxing in Hyderabad.
