Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Central Crime Station police arrested a person on charges of cheating youngsters after promising jobs in the Indian Railways, State Bank of India and other government departments.
The suspect, Mohd Khaja Mohinuddin alias Bablu alias Naveen (39), a realtor from Khammam allegedly cheated people to the tune of Rs 94 lakh.
Police said Khaja Mohinuddin induced job aspirants promising jobs by giving false assurances and also conducted fake trainings, interviews and medical tests. “He also created a fake atmosphere of recruitment process and by giving fake appointment letters on fake letterheads of Indian Railways, cheated them,” police said.
He was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
