Hyderabad: Junior District Basketball championship from Nov 18
The State teams to participate in the 71st Junior National Basketball Championship at Indore, Madhya Pradesh from January 4 to 10 will be selected during the Championship.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Basketball Association will be conducting 5th Junior State Inter District Championship for boys and girls born on or after 01.01.2003 at Uttanoor Village, Ieeja Mandal, Gadwal, Mahabubnagr under the auspices of Sri Sri Danvanthari Venkateswara Swamy Devasthanam Committee under the Chairmanship of Tirumal Reddy from November 18 to 20.

Selection Trials for seniors
The Basketball Federation of India will be starting the 71st Senior National Championship under the new competition format wherein state teams will first play on a zonal basis culminating with the National to be held at Chennai, Tamil Nadu during January 2022. Selection trials for the men’s team will be held at Pavilion grounds, Khammam on November 7 (Sunday). Players from affiliated District Basketball Associations should report at the venue by 9.00 am to M V Ramana, chairman Selection Committee along with a letter from the Secretary/President of the concerned District Basketball Association
Selection trials for the women senior team will be held at Railway Recreation Club grounds (RRC- SCR) Secunderabad on November 1 at 3.00 pm. Players along with the letter of sponsorship from the President/Secretary of District Basketball Association shall report to Norman Isaac, General Secretary, Telangana Basketball Association at the venue.
Trials for Juniors
The Hyderabad District Basketball Association shall be fielding its teams at the 5th Telangana State Junior Inter District Basketball Championship. The trials for boys will be held on Tuesday Nov 02 and for girls on Saturday Nov 06 at CCOB College grounds, both at 3.00 PM. Players to be eligible should be born on or after 01.01.2003 and should bring along with them the original Date of Birth Certificate and also the original Aadhar Card to participate in the selection trials.
