Hyderabad: The Khairatabad Ganesh, which stands 40 feet tall this year, will be immersed in Hussain Sagar from NTR Marg by 2.30 pm on Sunday, said members of Sri Ganesh Utsav Committee, Khairatabad.
“We will start the procession by 9 am and try to complete the immersion procedure by 2.30 pm,” said Raj Kumar, organiser of the committee. The idol will be moved at midnight and the welding works will continue overnight to facilitate its movement towards Hussain Sagar.
