Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Thursday made a brief stop at the iconic Nimrah Cafe and Bakery near Charminar, where he enjoyed the traditional Irani chai and Osmania biscuits, drawing enthusiastic crowds in Hyderabad’s Old City.
Sharing the experience on social media platform X, Rama Rao said, “What’s a visit to Hyderabad’s Old City without some Irani chai?” He added that he had visited the popular eatery to savour its famous chai and Osmania biscuits.
Rama Rao was warmly received by Nimrah Cafe proprietor Aslam Bin Abood and the staff, whom he thanked for their hospitality.
His visit sparked excitement around the Charminar area, with several locals gathering outside the cafe to catch a glimpse of the BRS leader. Rama Rao also obliged them by posing for photographs and selfies before leaving to attend his other engagements. Though informal, the visit created a buzz in the bustling Old City.
