Hyderabad lad bags all India second rank in CA final exam

Hyderabad student Teja Mundada secured all-India second rank in the CA final exam held in September 2025, scoring 492 marks. ICAI announced the results on Monday, with a 24.66% pass rate in Group-I and 25.26% in Group-II

Hyderabad: A Hyderabad lad has secured all India second rank in the CA final examination results that were declared by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Monday.

Teja Mundada of Hyderabad has scored 492 marks, which is 82 per cent, in the final examination that was conducted across 458 centres in the country in September 2025. With 500 marks, Mukund Agiwal of Dhamnod was declared all India topper, while Bakul Gupta of Alwar secured third rank with 489 marks.

A total of 51,955 candidates appeared and 24.66 per cent cleared Group-I, while 32,273 took Group-II and 25.26 per cent passed. Similarly, 16,800 candidates appeared for both Group – I and II exams and 2,727 passed.
