Hyderabad: A clash took place between two groups regarding land in Survey No 240 of Kammaguda in Turkayamjal on the city outskirts on Wednesday.
As per available information, the incident occurred when a group of people was allegedly trying to occupy the land. Both groups pelted stones at each other, leading to a tense situation.
Several people tried to demolish the walls of several plots and free cast walls in Survey Nos 240, 241, and 242, claiming that they owned about ten acres of land and that they had orders from the court.
The local residents and plot owners stopped the alleged encroachers and drove them away. On receiving the information, the local police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
