Hyderabad: Langer Houz police nabs bike thief, recovered five vehicles

Gopal admitted to having stolen five vehicles at different places over a period of time. The police have recovered the five vehicles.

Hyderabad: A bike thief who was involved in five cases was arrested by the Langer Houz police on Saturday. The police recovered five vehicles from him.

The arrested person is identified as Vartiya Gopal (47), a resident of Gudimalkapur. According to the police, Gopal on May 5, had noticed a bike parked at Bapu Ghat Langer Houz road and using a duplicate master key opened the vehicle and took it away.


The owner of the bike, Syed Khaja, who found his bike missing, made a complaint with the police, who then registered a case and caught Gopal.

On interrogation, Gopal admitted to having stolen five vehicles at different places over a period of time.

The police have recovered the five vehicles.
