Hyderabad: Minimum temperatures continued to fall across Telangana, with Mahabubnagar district recording the state’s lowest minimum temperature of 22.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday. As per the Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather data, 28 out of 33 districts reported minimum temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius.
As for areas under the GHMC limits, Serilingampally recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 24.7 degrees Celsius, followed by 24.9 degrees Celsius in Rajendranagar, Moosapet and Yousufguda.
At 38.6 degrees Celsius, Kamanpur in Peddapalli district recorded the highest maximum temperature in the state. Twenty-two districts registered maximum temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius. In Hyderabad, the highest maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Begumpet.
Meanwhile, generally cloudy skies will prevail over the city on Sunday. However, as per independent weather expert T Balaji, Hyderabad is likely to witness scattered intense thunderstorms at a few places due to high heat. He also forecast isolated thunderstorms in Nalgonda, Nagarkurnool, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem.
