Hyderabad: MAA ENT Hospitals conducted its two-day 62nd live surgical workshop with the theme on optimising surgical results and focus on achieving 100 per cent success rate, which concluded here on Sunday.
More than 100 ENT doctors from across the country attended the workshop in which senior faculty members performed 25 surgeries on nose and ear related problems using the latest equipment from US and Germany at MAA ENT Hospitals, Jubilee Hills. The workshop also featured surgeries on throat, sinus and ear surgeries. Out of the 25 surgeries that were performed, 15 were performed for free while 10 were performed on cost-to-cost basis.
Senior surgeons, including Dr KR Meghanadh, chief ENT Surgeon, MAA ENT Hospitals, Dr Ashok Kumar Gupta from Chandigarh, Dr Shafkat Ul Islam from Srinagar, Dr Prahlada NB from Karnataka, Dr Karunesh Gupta from Amritsar, Dr N Venkatram Reddy, Dr Kiran, Dr Benjamin P Kumar, Dr S. Ramakrishna and Dr Manish Gupta from MAA ENT Hospitals, were the senior faculty in the workshop.
