Hyderabad: Madhu Park Ridge residents plan NGT move over Musi Riverfront project
Residents of Madhu Park Ridge Apartments met the SEIAA Chairman, seeking reconciliation of discrepancies in the Musi Riverfront Development Project's EIA and EMP reports. They warned of approaching the National Green Tribunal if environmental clearance is granted without resolving the issues.
Hyderabad: A delegation from Madhu Park Ridge (MPR) Apartments at Bandlaguda Jagir met the Chairman of the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Telangana, in the city on Thursday and demanded reconciliation of discrepancies in the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) reports for the Musi Riverfront Development Project.
The delegation said it would approach the National Green Tribunal (NGT) if environmental clearance was granted without addressing the discrepancies.
The MPR delegation said around 400 flats in Madhu Park Ridge would be affected as part of the Gandhi Sarovar Project linked to the Musi Riverfront Development Project.
