Hyderabad: Mailardevpally Police arrest former worker in Rs 24.49 lakh burglary case

Mailardevpally Police arrested a former worker in connection with the burglary of Rs 24.49 lakh from the Harsh Bakers Biscuit Company office at Katedan. Police said CCTV footage helped identify the accused and Rs 24.4 lakh cash was recovered intact.

Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally Police on Friday arrested Anil Nagorao Kamble (28), a former worker, in connection with the burglary of Rs 24.49 lakh cash from the office of Harsh Bakers Biscuit Company at Katedan reported earlier this week.

Police said the cash, which was kept in the office locker on August 31, was found missing the next morning. The door, almirah and locker were found broken open.

Officials said special teams were formed, CCTV footage was analysed and Kamble was identified.

Cash of Rs 24.4 lakh was recovered intact.
