Hyderabad making OnePlus Smart TVs for entire India

City-based Radiant Appliances and Electronics which has been working with global consumer electronic brands, is now making the entire range (32-65 inches) of OnePlus Smart TVs

Hyderabad: Hyderabad is becoming the hub for electronics and is now making OnePlus Smart TVs for the entire country. The city-based Radiant Appliances and Electronics which has been working with global consumer electronic brands, is now making the entire range (32-65 inches) of OnePlus Smart TVs for the entire India.

Raminder Singh Soin, MD, Telangana Today, “We have been engaged with OnePlus since 2020. We have so far produced 5,00,000 units in the last 3-4 months. We have dedicated two production lines for them. We are planning to ramp up the production to one million units by December 2021.”


“Earlier OnePlus was importing its products. Now, we are taking care of their entire range in Hyderabad to meet the domestic market. We are also going to explore export opportunities soon,” he added.

The company has been making TVs for brands such as Samsung and Xiaomi as well, catering to almost 40 per cent of the market.

“We are going to set up a new plant soon. We will have the muscle of manufacturing and a lot of localisation is already happening at our facility. And we will be expanding our employee base from 3,500 to 5,000 people at our E-City plant at Fab City, Raviryal Village, Maheshwaram Mandal , RR District, Hyderabad,” Soin informed.

Telangana IT and industries Minister K T Rama Rao expressed gratitude towards OnePlus for investing in Hyderabad. He tweeted;
