Hyderabad: Man allegedly strangled to death by woman, associates in Mangalhat

A 25-year-old man was allegedly strangled to death by a woman and her associates at Raheempura in Mangalhat. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder and the suspected roles of the woman and others allegedly involved in the incident.

Hyderabad: A man was allegedly strangled to death by a woman and her associates at Raheempura in Mangalhat on Monday.

The victim, Sainath Singh (25), was allegedly having an affair with Anisha Singh, a married woman and resident of Raheempura.

It is suspected that on Monday, Anisha called Sainath to her house, where she, along with a few associates, allegedly strangled him with the help of others.

Anisha and others later fled the house, leaving behind the body. Locals who noticed the door of the house open for a long time sensed something suspicious and alerted the police.

ACP Kulsumpura V Tirupathi said the police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder and the roles of the woman and others suspected to be involved. A case has been registered, and the body has been shifted to the mortuary for postmortem examination.
