Hyderabad: Man arrested for allegedly filming woman while bathing

A man was arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly attempting to secretly record a woman while she was bathing. The woman noticed a mobile phone camera near the bathroom ventilator, leading to a complaint, police action and the accused's arrest.

Hyderabad: A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to secretly record a woman while she was bathing at her residence in the Film Nagar.

According to police, the incident occurred in the Shaikpet, when the woman noticed a mobile phone camera positioned near the bathroom ventilator while she was taking a bath.

Alarmed by it, she immediately informed her husband. The family then searched the surroundings and identified the suspect, Aravind, in a room opposite their house.

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, Film Nagar police registered a case and took up investigation.

Police took the Aravind into custody and after questioning and collecting evidence, formally arrested him.

He was produced before a court on Tuesday and remanded to judicial custody.

Police are investigating.
