Hyderabad: The Golconda police arrested one person who allegedly attacked a couple while they were going on a motorcycle at Tolichowki four days ago.
The man, Mohd Rafi (32), a resident of MD Lines in Tolichowki and a native of Kodangal in Vikarabad, had allegedly stopped the couple while they were traveling on a bike at Tolichowki and attacked them. The couple were of different faiths and Rafi questioned the man’s intention of moving along with a woman of different faith.
Based on a complaint, the police booked a case under Section 153A, 341 and 506 of IPC and arrested him on Tuesday. He was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
