Hyderabad: The Sanathnagar police solved the murder case of a woman reported early this week and arrested her husband on charges of killing her, suspecting her fidelity.
Police said the victim Rekha (30), who is the third wife of the suspect Yadagiri (34), was often harassed by her husband who suspected her fidelity.
On February 18, Yadagiri took Rekha, who was pregnant, to the fourth floor of a construction building at MIG Colony in Sanathnagar and bludgeoned her to death.
The police, who recovered the decomposed body on Sunday, identified her with the help of CCTV footage. Based on suspicion, Yadagiri was detained and he confessed to the killing.
He was produced before the court and remanded in judicial custody.
