Hyderabad: Man arrested in Falaknuma murder case

Hyderabad: The Falaknuma police solved the murder of an auto-rickshaw driver Abdul Shahrukh reported at Jahanuma on Sunday afternoon and have taken one person into custody.
According to sources, the suspect had come along with the victim on a Honda Activa scooter from Mustafanagar and on reaching a narrow lane at Jahanuma, slit Shahrukh’s throat while he was driving. Shahrukh jumped from the scooter and tried to escape, but after running a few metres, he collapsed and died on the spot.
“Shahrukh married around six years ago and has three children. A month ago, he married another woman. A relative of the first wife did not like it and killed him on Sunday,” an official said.
