Hyderabad: Man attacked by unidentified persons succumbs to injuries

Hyderabad: A 40 year-old-man who was attacked and robbed by few unknown persons at Mehdipatnam ten days ago, died while undergoing treatment early on Sunday.
The victim D Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Asifnagar was returning home from work on April 21 when unknown persons attacked him near Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in Mehdipatnam and robbed him of gold ring, mobile phone and cash.
“Ramesh was admitted in a hospital by his family members and while undergoing treatment died early on Sunday,” said Asifnagar Inspector, N Ravinder.
The police who had earlier registered a case under Section 307 (murder attempt) and other Sections of IPC altered it to 302 (murder) after the death of Ramesh.
