Hyderabad: A man was allegedly beaten and robbed by a gang at Rajendranagar on Sunday midnight. The victim identified as Nagarjuna had boarded an auto-rickshaw from Lakdi-ka-Pul towards Rajendranagar, police sources said.
After travelling for some distance, two other unidentified persons posing as passengers got into the auto-rickshaw. The auto driver, took the vehicle towards Langar Houz, instead of the route which leads to Nagarjuna’s house. When Nagarjuna raised an alarm, the gang assaulted him and robbed cash of Rs 4,000 and his mobile phone and fled. The Rajendranagar police are investigating.
