Hyderabad: Man attacked with knife in Hassannagar; Case registered

A man was stabbed in the leg during an argument at Hasannagar, Bahadurpura, on Wednesday night. The victim, Mohammed Mubeen, was attacked by Nizam and taken to Osmania General Hospital.

Hyderabad: A man sustained bleeding injuries after he was allegedly attacked with a knife by another man following an argument at Hassannagar in Bahadurpura on Wednesday night.

According to the police, the victim, identified as Mohammed Mubeen, a resident of Shastripuram, had stepped out of his workplace at Hassannagar when the suspect, Nizam, a resident of Falaknuma, allegedly intercepted him and picked up an argument.

During the altercation, Nizam allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Mubeen on his leg, causing a bleeding injury. Local residents alerted the police, who shifted the injured man to Osmania General Hospital for treatment.

“A case has been registered and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect. The motive behind the attack is being investigated,” an official of the Bahadurpura police station said.
