Hyderabad: Man attacks former lover in Miyapur after she marries another person
A man allegedly attacked his former lover with a knife in Miyapur after she married another person earlier this year. Police arrested the suspect and his father following the incident. The injured woman was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.
Hyderabad: A 28-year-old man, enraged over his former lover marrying another person, allegedly attacked her with a knife in Miyapur.
The police have arrested the suspect along with his father in connection with the incident.
According to Miyapur Sub-Inspector Mounika, the 26-year-old woman from Kakinada and the suspect Ali Shah alias Pandu (25) were previously working at PG hostels in Miyapur, where they developed a relationship.
However, the woman later married another colleague from Rajamahendravaram in January this year and began living with him in Reddy Colony in Miyapur.
On Thursday, Pandu, accompanied by his father Lalu , went to her residence. An argument broke out between them, during which he allegedly attacked her with a knife.
The injured woman was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. The Miyapur police have taken both the suspect and his father into custody and further investigation is on.
