Hyderabad man booked for hiding bigamy, assaulting wife
A man in Hyderabad’s Attapur area has been booked for allegedly hiding the fact that he had two other wives before marrying his current wife. The woman accused him of physical abuse after she confronted him.
Hyderabad: A case has been registered against a man for allegedly cheating his wife and physically abusing her.
According to the police, a woman made a complaint against her husband, Rafi, a resident of Attapur, alleging that he had two other wives and did not disclose this before marrying her. She further alleged that Rafi physically abused her when she questioned him after discovering the truth.
Based on her complaint, the police have registered a case under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and have launched an investigation.
